Photo Diary: Vernazza, Cinque Terre

Vernazza is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to! I went with my family and it has truly gone down as a day that I will never forget. Check out everything we did below.

We drove in from Florence to Cinque Terre. The drive was about two hours. Growing up in Vegas, never have I seen a countryside more beautiful!

Cinque Terre has five cities, we stopped in at two. The first, Riomaggiore. We did not stay long but, we stopped inside of a quaint church and walked around the small village!

Then, we took a 15 minute boat ride to the next village, Vernazza.

Circa 2014 when I visited for school! We took a photo in the same spot!

After the short boat ride, we decided to head to the small beach. It was the nicest, most natural, and beautiful beach I have ever been to in my life. Truly something out of a postcard or movie.

From the beach, we went to THE BEST RESTAURANT OF MY LIFE. Okay well not the best but, it was really up there. We ordered the calamari, fish, and some pasta. We shared it all and I have never tasted a fish fresher, a pasta more homemade, and an ambiance that beats this waterfront view. With local wine, that was made in the mountains that we were sitting in, nothing could beat that moment. Best part of the trip.

Not to mention, the waiter was so great! He was so nice and funny- we were laughing the whole time. Shoutout to Andrea! ❤️✨

The meal could not end without dessert! Unfortunately, it was so good, that I forgot to get a photo of it before it was finished. It was the creamiest vanilla gelato with a fresh strawberry sauce on top- with whole strawberries. I miss it already!

To say the least, this day goes down as one of the best days of my life. Such a great time to spend the day in this small village with just my family. I’ll never forget it!
